About
From the race track with the Australian Turf Club, to London’s property sector, and working with the nation’s leading newsrooms at News Corp Australia, I have spent the past 15 years shaping stories through PR, communications, and marketing. My expertise spans across the media, agriculture, sport and entertainment industries. My strengths are my news sense and ability to find the story, my authentic and strategic nature when developing and maintaining connections, and my work ethic and drive to deliver highly professional and effective work.
My career highlights include managing publicity for The Australian’s Hedley Thomas and his internationally acclaimed podcasts, including The Teacher’s Trial. I led Hedley’s publicity schedule off the back of Chris Dawson’s conviction - which demanded Hedley to speak with every major broadcaster in the country, prioritising the message, briefing and logistics, within one highly impactful day of publicity.
I also worked on change-making national campaigns, including news.com.au’s award-winning ‘About Bloody Time’ in 2024. The campaign helped secure a landmark $49.1m federal government investment towards endometriosis sufferers.
My portfolio also extends to sport, property, lifestyle and culture - including.being a part of the communications team behind the merge of the four major race tracks in Sydney to one home of racing at The Australian Turf Club. I strategised yearly launch campaigns for the Supercoach app over the years, working with top tier talent like the late Shane Warne, achieving widespread national media attention. For several years, I also managed delicious. magazine’s celebrated ‘Delicious 100’ campaign, collaborating with leading chefs, growers, restaurateurs and bar owners to showcase the evolving world of food, wine and dining. I had a brief stint in London, UK, at a leading property recruitment company where I was marketing manager across the private and public sector, strategising and delivering their commercial initiatives and working with the internal talent to build profiles from the ground up.
Away from my professional work, I have a lifelong love of horses and country living. Having grown up in Sydney but also spending weekends and holidays at our family farm in Berry, I spent many years riding and competing in Eventing, and working for top riders across Australia, Canada and the UK. Since 2020 I have been based in the Southern Highlands of NSW with my husband and now two young children - happiest when surrounded by family and friends, fresh air, and a glass and plate of the region’s finest!
My aim is to shine a light on the rich offering of the Southern Highlands region and beyond, by working with authentic and diverse connections in my latest chapter at AZPR.
