Making your story newsworthy
AZPR is a boutique PR & communications operation based in the Southern Highlands, run by Anna Zakaras. I partner with people, brands and organisations to clarify their business objectives and develop strategies that build awareness, credibility and meaningful impact through publicity and communications.
I help to make your story newsworthy through media coverage, events and networking, and delivering communication strategies that cut through. With over 15 years’ experience across national newsrooms and international organisations, I bring a depth of expertise to the Southern Highlands and beyond, along with a genuine passion for elevating local talent and helping great stories reach the audiences they deserve.
How AZPR can help
-
Publicity is about creating meaningful visibility through trusted media, strategic storytelling, and influential networks. From media pitching and press releases to thought leadership and campaign support, I position brands in front of the right audiences to build credibility, spark conversation, and drive awareness that aligns with your business goals.
-
I develop strategic content and communication plans that ensure every audience touchpoint feels aligned, purposeful, and effective. From social media and email campaigns to photography, video, and brand messaging, I create cohesive content strategies designed to strengthen your brand presence and deliver measurable results.
-
From intimate networking events to large-scale launches and community activations, I manage the strategy, planning, and delivery of experiences that connect people with your brand. Covering everything from programming and suppliers to promotion and guest engagement, every event is tailored to your goals and audience.
-
I help individuals build a strong and credible public presence through strategic storytelling, media opportunities, partnerships, and industry positioning. Combining hands-on management with long-term brand strategy, I support talent in navigating appearances, collaborations, speaking opportunities, and media engagement with clarity and purpose.
